Build Invest Repeat. Black history month capsule

On February 25, 1964 Muhammad Ali and Malcolm X met in Miami, FL to discuss their impact on building economic equality, investing in the community, and repeating these practices to instill the legacy that now lives on. The photo that displayed in this design is featured in the Smithsonian museum to this day. It perfectly displays the contrast of both men. Ali: Outspoken, passionate, and confident, yet mistaken as arrogant and outlandish. While X on the other hand, strong, methodical, and a role model to other Black men, who behind closed doors had his own challenges to face.

60 years later, that life changing discussion inspired me to create this capsule. This historic event not only challenged different perspectives on combating racial injustice, but is a perfect depiction of free expression. Both men from different walks of life, different career paths, and different personalities found themselves unifying with the same purpose: to BUILD, INVEST, and REPEAT.
